The intrinsic characteristics of materials are central to my work; how they move, interact, behave and transform. From painting to sculpture my works are disposed to their own material qualities. I take a keen interest in process and I approach making in a scientific manner, analyzing materials through experimental process. The spontaneous qualities of materials are a central part of my practice. I aim to open up a dialogue with the material, to be led by the material and its possibility.
